Abu Dhabi, 14 March 2025: Silal, Abu Dhabi's leading agri-food andtechnology company, is launching the School Discovery Tour, a nationalprogram designed to spark students’ interest in agriculture and foodinnovation. Targeted at students aged 11 and above, the initiative aims todeepen understanding of food security and sustainable agriculture’s role inshaping the future.
Students will explore three key Silallocations in Al Ain which are Al Ain Packhouse, UAE’s largest automatedpackhouse; – Silal’s R&D center, showcasing breakthroughs in agritech; andthe Al Ain Farm, which is a practical experience in sustainable farming.
This initiative contributes to the UAE’scelebration of Emirati Children’s Day and complements the activities of theYear of Community by empowering young minds through knowledge andhands-on experiences, inspiring the next generation of innovators to shape asustainable agricultural future.
